The topic I would like to write about is the small town of st Francis, It is the place I grew up for at least 9 years now, after I moved from my old home in Minneapolis. The city consists of 3 schools, The st francis elementary school, the middle school and the high school which I have attended all. It is a nice and quiet town with a police station as well as a fire department.
Some of the other parts of the town include A few parks like the rum river park and the dinosaur park. As well as some local restaurants line the different pizza joints, Beff o brades restaurant, micdonals, Dq, and subway. There are also many gas stations around the town Like the newly names speedway, caseys, and quick trip.
Some of the historical sides of st Francis include it was named after Francis Assisi. St. Francis Township was settled in 1855 and organized in 1857. The name St. Francis comes from Louis Hennepin, who named the Rum River after St. Francis in 1680.
