Mark Skin Radio new article content ...

Mark Skin Radio is an experimental free form rock internet streaming station, created in May of 2012. Founder Chris Johnson created the station to bring back real rock radio, with a liberal dose of new rock music. The service is through internet streaming website live365.

Numerous DJ's have appeared on MSR as regular features, and a number of special guests have also appeared on the station. Initial on-air personalities included James Farrar, Tim Clancy, Doug Folos and were joined early on by Barry Hudson and Mark Schultz. In 2013 Johnny Washington a.k.a. "Blackbeard" appeared several times, and Toni Livingston first appeared with her show "The Toni Hour Tour". Known for the catch-phrases "What the hell is Mark Skin Radio anyway?" and "It ain't bad ya know!" MSR is a facebook-request driven station originating in Lunenburg, Massachusetts.

Special guests have included Mark Johnson, Nancy Walton and Chris Chin of Ian James Music.

MSR plays rock and roll 24/7, and pretty much anything related to it. Our influence is partly from the local Boston music scene, which is alive and well. We hope you enjoy our live shows, typically on most evenings in the eastern U.S. time zone. Find our facebook page, like it, and watch for events posted for live shows. And thank you for checking us out!
