About Me
|
I am currently an undergraduate chemistry student and researcher at Illinois Institute of Technology. Though I am most interested in organic chemistry, I also have a secondary interest in analytical chemistry. My research, however, focuses on organic chemistry, and most of my expertise is in this area. I am particularly interested in reaction mechanisms and named reactions, and most of my contributions so far have been in regards to one of these two topics.
I have found that Wikipedia is often a great reference for chemistry information; even obscure reactions and unusual compounds are usually given at least a cursory treatment. In addition, the sources and/or links provided by previous editors are useful in researching a topic further. I am grateful that Wikipedia is such an excellent reference, and am simply trying to do my part.
New Articles
editThese are articles I've created from scratch.
Major Contributions
editThese are articles that I have rewritten, Wikified, or to which I added a significant amount of new content.
Minor Contributions
editThese are articles to which I have contributed a paragraph or two, or perhaps a figure/graphic.
Contributions on Wikimedia Commons
editSince chemical structures and reaction mechanisms - and indeed, images in general - are more or less universally understood, I post all the images I create to the Commons. For a complete list of files I've contributed, look here.
My To-Do List
editThese are articles that I am currently working on, or would like to work on in the near future. To see what I'm currently working on, check my sandbox. I like to test things there before posting changes to the article in question.
