Carlo C. Maley, Ph.D.
Carlo Maley is a cancer researcher at the Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. His specialty is cell-level evolution in neoplastic progression and cancer therapy, as well as comparative oncology (learning about cancer by studying cancer across species). Most of his work has been devoted to Barrett's Esophagus, which can be studied longitudinally as it progresses from a metaplasia to malignancy. He is currently working on developing clinical trials of adaptive therapy, among other efforts to apply evolutionary approaches to cancer management.
