Sporting challenges

Mini Coastal Walk (24 miles) Completed a 24 mile walk on behalf of the community sports foundation to support the build of the “nest”. This was the start of many sporting challenges Riley would seek to face.

Marathon (26.2 miles) Participated in the Marriotts way marathon located between Aylsham and Norwich, running 26.2 miles in which he fractured his foot in the 20th mile, but still completing the challenge. Money raised from this event went to Star Throwers located in Wymondham, described by Riley as a charity very close to his heart.

Century Endurance Cycle (100 miles) Well known by cyclists as one of the many challenges within the cycling industry. Riley completed this landmark 100 mile bike ride doing a loop around Norwich, up close to Snetterton then to Longwater to finish the ride off in Wymondham. All of this on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Society, with the challenge being he needed to complete 100 miles in a month but instead chose to complete the challenge in one day.
