About me

edit

I'm a student currently in college and have various hobbies. Some of these hobbies include reading gay romantic fanfiction, reading car topics such as the chemistry of different oils and driving at high rates of speed, all of which makes my wife cringe.

I Iive in Washington state and have worked as a sales manager at a Fortune 500 company. I successfully increased my districts sales from a low 15th percentile to a high 85th percentile in the country. I have since ended my career as a sales manager and trainer due to the persistent feeling of having my soul chipped from me with every sale. Ideally, I'd have a high paying job that allows me to be the perfect consumer of sports cars and anime paraphernalia. A job with enough free time so I may feed my drawing hobby long enough to produce a sizable side income off of online comic views. That is my dream.

Article evaluation

edit

In this article we review the Wikipedia page: "My Hero academia." The series is a popular japanese fiction in various media platforms such as manga and animation that follows a powerless Izuku Midoriyas's quest to be a hero in a super powered world while he himself is powerless. As a fan myself it'll be interesting to me to see how people have contributed to the "My Hero Academia" Wikipedia page. As many fans with potential biases have edited the Wikipedia page: "My Hero Academia," we can take a closer look to see if the biases and opinions that reside in the fan base are within the article, or perhaps if the article accurately portrays the inherent facts. I visited the "My Hero Academia" article on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: opinion in plot description, citations, and grammer."

Opinion

edit

At first I felt there was opinion in the plot summary, but reviewed the series beginning again and found that although simple, it accurately portrays the sum of the series plot. I would prefer slightly more detail and perhaps a rewrite to provide a greater sense of understanding of the plot. It's a fine line however to prevent the feeling that the plot summary has caused spoilers for potential readers and viewers.

Citations

edit

There are 118 citations of credible resources such as the official website for My Hero Academia and the Anime New Network. I would trust these sources to provide genuine information on My Hero Academia.

Grammar

edit

I selected all and copied the selected text so I may test for grammar beyond simply reading the article a few times. I pasted the article in a Google Docs document and tested for Grammar mistakes. The only grammatical errors were from quoted resources such as their article title. There also were no spelling errors found within the article.

Summary

edit

The wikipedia page: "My Hero Academia"  provides 4,367 words to provide accurate information on the works in and around the series. The overall feeling taken after reading is good, that the article is one of literacy and coherent opinion free facts. I would only improve upon the aforementioned plot summary.

My Wikipedia interests

edit

I may decide to help build on the already many articles on car subcategories. I won’t have anywhere near the amount of articles published as the dedicated editor Justin Anthony Knapp. As of October 2015 Knapp has made 1.5 million edits to Wikipedia pages, averaging almost 400 a day.[1] I currently use Wikipedia so that I may have a better grasp on my hobbies.
