I created a statement of retirement here, because ArbCom told me to stop editing under multiple named accounts. They had specifically told me that I was NOT being blocked for being disruptive, as NONE of my edits had been disruptive except in the opinions of two editors who have been harassing (one since before I retired my main account). I encouraged the Wikipedia community to deal with these two editors' constant harassment of me.
The page was shortly thereafter deleted as an "attack page". I would dispute whether asking the Wikipedia community to help me deal with someone who has been going around undoing a large number of my edits purely as "revenge", but I won't appeal the page's deletion. It seems Wikipedia won't let me both leave and see my former edits protected from said hound's harassment. Therefore, I'm keeping THIS account (I won't edit from other accounts -- ArbCom is watching, so you know I can't be lying) until this user's harassment is dealt with.
This is NOT an attack page. It is an official statement that, once the harassment case I started is dealt with, I will leave Wikipedia forever. To quote the ArbCom member who has been dealing with me: "There is no easy way out and, quite frankly, I'm sorry Wikipedia and the Foundation can't do more to protect editors who are being harassed solely because they're editing the encyclopaedia" and "the bad guys won".
