Jeremy Karpen (born 1981 in XXXXXXXXX, XXXXXXX) is an American political activist. He obtained a BA degree in 2003 from Macalester College, St. Paul, in Philosophy & Psychology with a minor in Legal Studies, followed by a Master degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2007[1] In 2010 he is a candidate for the House Representative in Illinois’s 39th district as a member of the Green Party. Karpen's campaign manifesto includes responsible public investment in Clean Energy and Transportation, reforms in education funding through tax reform, electoral and campaign finance reform, and a non-profit single-payer health care system.
