In Wake
In Wake is a rock/punk pop band formed by Aidan Reese (lead vocalist and keyboard) and Marcus Cabrera (lead guitar and backup vocals)in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Other members of the band include Lucas Pernoud on the bass and Kaleb Scott on the drums. In Wake was formed in 2019 and since then has released an album and a single. Their album, From the Attic was released in December of 2020, and consisted of 8 original songs from various genres. Their album’s songs ranged from angry, frustrated shouts (Vyper, Burn Out) to happy, beachy vibes (On the Sand). Their single, Don’t Know, was released a little bit before their album and is one of their most popular songs. Their current most popular song is called Bitter(Sweet), followed by Don’t Know and On the Sand. They have announced that they will release a new single soon called Dimwit, which some fans heard at a recent In Wake concert at Orange Leaf. They often play at the local sober night club, Servant’s Heart (as all of the band members are 18 and just graduated from high school). They also won the local Battle of the Bands in 2020, earning them money to buy new equipment and a little more confidence.
