User:Coolgurl5555/Goodbye note

Hey guys. I’ve decided to leave Wikipedia and become semi-retired as of today, Thursday May 28, 2026 local time for me. I sit here right now trying to think of what to say in what’s unlikely to be but possible to be the final thing I ever say on Wikipedia. All I can think of is, this place is amazing and must be protected. I want to thank everyone I’ve ever positively or negatively interacted with, especially the people in User:Coolgurl5555#Credits. I’m not leaving for any particular reason, just a couple recent bad experiences, the fact that I’m less active and I feel people deserve an explanation, and just a general lack of interest lately. If you still want to keep up with me/communicate with me, check out my website. The info on my page about myself is likely to become outdated with time, but I may still fix it every once in a while. I love this site so much and plan to still do research here and such. Hope there’s no WP:Gravedancing once I’m gone haha. I’m unable to think of anything more to say now. This is officially my sign-off, I suppose. Who knows, maybe I’ll return in a full capacity. Anyways, goodbye to everyone!
