The 2011 New Brunswick Premier Soccer League is the inaugural season. In 2010, there was an exhibition league of amateur senior A teams to prove the concept of a provincial league. There are 7 teams currently planned for the 2011 season, down from 9 last season. It appears that some of the teams have joined forces to become stronger, more stable clubs.
