Angela Marie Brosso(1970-11-8-1992) was an american woman and murder victim.She was born in pensalvania and attended devry university in new jersey.It was there she met her boyfirend in 1990.They both moved to phoenix and lived in woodstone apartments together for 5 months until Brossos murder.On sunday night november the 8th at aprx.7pm,Brosso left the apartment to go on her nightly bike ride through cave creek park along a water diversion channel.At 1140 pm aprx time Brossos boyfriend reported to police that she had not returned and at 9 am aprx the next mourning her naked corpse was discovered in the park next to the apartments south of cactus road at 25th avenue.She was decapitated and her head was missing,a pile of blood drenched clothes was near her body.She was disemboweled by deep cut wounds to her chest,it was later revealed in an arizona republic article that the killer/killers were trying to "skin her"corpse like in the film silence of the lambs.Her head was discovered 11 days later by a mentaly disbaled fisherman known as the "fisher king" in a grate on the southern bank of the arizona canal just west of inerstate 17 2 and a half miles south from the park Brossos body was found.In 1994 dna evidence linked her murder to the murder of Melanie Bernas a 17 year old arcadia high school junior who was murdered near the same spot angelas head was found.Both Melanies bicycle:a green mens spc hardrock sport and Brossos 21 speed purple diamondback bike have never been recovered.To this day the murders have never been solved.
