The contents of the article could be organized better, like adding his works to the printing section as well. I saw that the mention of ~80 works was mentioned twice, so that might be repetitive. I do like the multiple sections split up.
Sources seem good with the Cartography text book and the Dizionario Bigrafico. Both links worked and I was able to find them. Try to get more sources, since two is kind of bare minimum- but I understand that it is hard since most of them will be in Italian.
In the lead, there is no mention of his cartography and map-making and since you made a large section that should be added. I don't know if that long quote really provides anything in the lead, so it might need to be changed.
