Zhenqian Huang (Chinese: 黃鎮乾; pinyin: Huāng zhèn qián; Cantonese: Wong chunkin, born 1980n Guangzhou ) is a Chinese artist and filmmaker. Since 2004, he lives and works in France and China. His works question the path of video art and experimental cinema in the reconstitution of Image-document through time and space: the disappearance of places, the fragments of memory, clashing with the traces left behind past and present.
Background and Education
editZhenQian studies the environnement design in Guangzhou University. After the diploma he moved to France in 2005 to study Image & Narrative, art video and cinema The Fine Arts School in Lorraine and The National School of Fine Art - Lyon in 2011. After his Post-Master in Lyon in 2012, he went to the artist residency in Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains.
