Lion Farm Athletic Lion Farm Athletic are an English Sunday League football team who play in the Warley & Oldbury District Sunday League. Currently they sit in the 4th Division and have done so for their 3 years of existence.
The club was founded by Kirk Harrison in 2008 and is still run by Kirk to this day, with the management team consisting of the first team Manager, Steve Worton and the Assistant Manager for the first team, David Arnold.
In 2011 a lot of changes saw Steve replace David as the first team Manager and along with these changes came the arrival of a selection of new players from defenders to attackers.
The first few games of the pre-season for the 2011/2012 season have resulted in some improvements to the stye of play and also the results of the first team. Lion Farm Athletic played 2 teams in the premier division of the same league and only lost by 1 goal in both occasions, whereas last season the same matches may have seen losses inflicted by 4 or kore goals. The 3rd game cam with an even mor pleasant surprise as Lion Farm secured their first win of pre-season and shocked the opposition with a 5-3 win, even more creditable was their half time lead of 5-1.
