Crown Heights as an entity, are a six piece Melbourne based reggae band. Formulated in 2019 with what looks like the United Nations of reggae bands, to bring a truly global vibe to the Melbourne reggae scene, the band members hailing from: Jamaica/London, New Zealand, Brazil, Samoa and Sri Lanka. All coming together in Melbourne, Australia to create a fascinating melting pot of reggae styles. Fronted by two lead vocalist, Marvin Priest, Independent artist of over 10 years and son of legendary reggae artist Maxi Priest and founder of Crown Heights. Dufty Kare Martin, former T-rhythm vocalist The experience is evident of this ensemble of Melbourne’s crème de la crème of musicians who are: Brett Direx (drums) , Jahwise (bass) , Jason Davis (guitar) and Frankeyz (keyboards).
