Ken's Yard
Ken’s Yard is an online building supplies merchant operating a national supply chain from Grangemouth, Scotland.
Established in 2009, by former owners of MGM Timber Charles McLeish and Joseph McConville, alongside ex Buildbase Regional Director Ken Mclelland[1]. The board of directors turned away from the traditional location based building material supply business model to an online e-commerce operation[2].
Since the launch in 2009, Ken’s Yard has been trading with trades people and consumers UK wide, in a variety of building industry products and services. Several months after launching the business, Ken’s Yard became a member of NMBS the National Merchants Buying Society, a buying group which covers a large sector of the building industry[3].
