Ana M Design
editAna M Design was formed in 2009 when entrepreneur Regis Mijatovic joined forces with artist Anthony Noble to create a new line of clothing to rival the Ed Hardy empire. The company was the next logical step for Mijatovic as a major license holder for the Ed Hardy brand. His move to create his own brand developed from his experience in creating new products bearing the Ed Hardy name. [1]
Anthony Noble, a noted artist from the south of France was brought into the project to bring his street art/pop art aesthetic to the new brand. This blend of comic book and street art has become a phenomenon in the Los Angeles scene. CEO Lena White heads up the corporation and has overseen the creation of the line since its inception. Ana M Design opened its flagship store on famed Melrose Avenue just blocks from the Christian Audigier and Ed Hardy flagship stores. The name ANA M is an acronym of Anthony Noble Art and Regis Mijatovic. [2]
