His life became brighter once his knew he was accepted in Miage in September 2005, a famous computer science department which belongs to Paris 12 Val de Marne University. The discovery of Rubik's cube

edit

No one knows exactly when he played this game for the first time, but it is clear that one of his roommates, one day of early 2008, gave him the passion for this game. That still unidentified comrade taught him the basics of 3x3x3 Rubik's cube. He was surely like a mentor to him.

Monir, feeling that he was learning well and fast, decided to compete in the Rubik's Cube French Open organised by the World Cube Association and which took place in Paris the 15th and 16th of March 2008.

For his first competition, he brilliantly took the Moroccan national record in 3x3x3 with his best time of 2:01.05.

Never satisfied, he immediately said in public after his record "I swear I'll will beat the 2 minutes barrier. For my country, for my friends".

Today, he is still working hard to achieve this goal.

Now Monir lives in Bangkok, Thailand and dedicates his life to motorbike in islands.
