Danwritesarticles is a Birmingham-based postgraduate researcher, studying global literature and culture in the 21st century He has recently joined wikipedia in order to practice research and writing skills, and hopes to be some use as a corrective for the Western-centric tendencies of Wikipedia articles on fiction.
He has a personal history of queer rights advocacy and lgbtq+ community support work, and also has a burgeoning interest in the history of drag and gender identity politics. Other interests are food / cooking and craft-skills.
As well as speaking and reading English, he is also moderately fluent in Italian, Spanish, German and Mandarin Chinese.
