editFor those of you in my generation, my username is that of the red haired troublemaker of The Partridge Family. This doesn't mean I'm looking for trouble... but I am always in the mood for a good argument; I especially love debunking pseudoscience and supernaturalism related nonsense.
I love to write, and re-write, fiction and non-fiction. I obsessively edit my own material and that of others until it reads perfectly in my mind. Above all, I love the idea of a repository of concise, accurate and useful knowledge and information, accessible to everyone. And, I have always been a compulsive typo-freak. So, hopefully, Wikipedia will be a place where I can contribute.
I used to edit quite a bit on the Open Directory Project years ago and really enjoyed it. But, with work and family, it became very hard to do on a regular basis. That's not good for a dmoz editor - too many submissions pile up. Nevertheless, I still wish to contribute to whatever I can online. I have always loved the Wikipedia ideals and have watched it develop for several years.
