Skinny Lister is a five piece folk act based in London, UK. Started in 2009, the band have released three singles to date 'Plough & Orion', [1]'December' [2]and 'Kite Song' [3] along with two EP's - 'Grand Union EP' [4]which was recorded on a canal boat as they toured down the Grand Union Canal network and the 'Homemade Tour EP' [5]recorded at friends and family residences as the band toured their hometowns.
Skinny Lister have recorded a debut album which is in the final stages of production and will release on Sunday Best Recordings [6]label early 2012. The debut single from the album - 'Rollin Over' is set for release October 2011. The band are managed by Paul Carey of The Music Management [7] and live bookings are looked after by Coda [8]. Skinny Lister have recently signed an investment deal with Imperial Music[9].
Skinny Lister have played various major music festivals over the last two years including Glastonbury[10], Leeds[11], Isle of Wight[12], Latitude[13], Bestival[14], Camp Bestival[15], Kendal Calling[16], Secret Garden Party[17], Vintage Festival[18], Friends Of Mine Festival[19], Festinho[20], Festibelly[21], Playgroup[22], Summer Sundae[23], Beautiful Days[24], Leave Me Here Festival[25], Summer Jam[26], Leigh Folk Festival[27], Winterwell[28]Moseley Folk Festival[29], End Of The Road Festival[30] and many more.
