Something About Myself
edit
Hi, my name's Darby and I am currently enrolled in AP Biology during my senior year of high school. Having a dad in the military has let me experience many different places and people. I was born in Oklahoma and since then, I have lived in New York, Rhode Island, South Carolina, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Germany. Now I am finally settled in a home and my dad is retired, I have been at the same school for three years and I am not taking my senior year easy, like most. I am also currently enrolled in an AP British Literature course and next semester I will be taking an AP Statistics course. Easy year? Not so much. But I'm hanging in there. I run cross country in the fall and I am thinking about participating in track in the spring. I love the beach and swimming in the ocean. Technically I'm Catholic, but I am still unsure about religion, evolution, all that controversial stuff, but hey. I'm a kid and I can save that nonsense for when I care more about it. I solemnly swear to not allow my soft, squishy brain to be molded by nutty professors in college (I apologize if you are one). I can make my own decisions, it's just that I'm focusing on other things at the moment. My brain can only do so many things at once. This information is completely unimportant and useless and I'm sure very few people will actually read it, but I thank you for doing so. One last thing, I greatly appreciate this quote: "We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love." - Dr. Seuss.
I made my Wikipedia account as part of a WikiProject for my Biology class, WikiProject AP Biology 2011. (No, not to vandalize, believe it or not.) The goal, as explained on the project's page, is to find a "stub" article and hopefully build it up to FA status! This, I have been told, is a difficult process, but I will try my best!
Please, please, please, lend me a hand, here. Unfortunately I am not very computer-savvy, so I'm sure I will be struggling while exploring the wonders of Wikipedia... As you can see from my rather bland user page. The only thing I really use the internet for are Facebook, Youtube, and research for school. I admit it. I'm sure my sixty-something-year-old grandpa knows more about the internet than I do. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate it if you would be willing to make suggestions or help me with any of my Wikipedia edits.
