Dariustwin is a pseudonym for Southern California-based light painting artist Darren Pearson. He creates life-sized light sculptures through use of long exposure photography. His most common creations include light-drawn dinosaurs and skeletons. His work began with photographs, but he is most known for his light painting stop motion animations where he combines up to 1,000 photographs to create movement. Dariustwin's work has been shared across the globe in museums, online, and commercials. He began designing and selling his own light illustration tool called the 'Night-Writer' in 2015. Dariustwin says that he was inspired by artist Pablo Picasso when he collaborated with photographer Gjon Mili to create a light painting of a Centaur.
