I am the Executive Director of the Global Lives Project and Research Director at the Institute for the Future. I hold a master's degree in Sociology from the University of São Paulo. As an undergraduate, I studied at the University of California, Berkeley and created my own major in "political economy of development and the environment."
I have been known to meddle in video and print journalism and I post most of my work on a little website.
