Gbenga Ayomide Onikoyi also known by his stage name Dave Oniks was born on the 21st October, 1993 at R Jolad Hospital in Gbagada, Lagos, Nigeria. His Father's name is Arc. Banji Onikoyi while his mother, Kemi Onikoyi.
He is a native of Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti state, Nigeria
Education:
His basic Education was at Queen-Mary School, Ojota, Lagos. In 2009, He graduated from Caleb International College, Magodo, Lagos. He then gained his first degree in Architecture in 2013 from Caleb University Imota, Lagos, Nigeria.
Career:
After earning his first degree, he went ahead for his National Youth Service corps, NYSC in Bayelsa state and passed out in 2014. In 2015, he started his career as a production assistant at Ark Resources Entertainment, Lagos, where he worked until 2018. He then became a freelance Architect and later got another appointment as an Architect at Onafowokan Cityscape Limited, Lagos, Nigeria. In early 2020, he moved to Ziguaratte Properties as an Architect where he works till date. In 2020, he made his debut as a Gospel artist. He started off as a chorister at Christ Power Pentecostal Ministry (CPPM) after his NYSC in 2014. In 2019, he moved to the Light of God church and became a Choir Master till date.
