Andrzej Marczewski (born 27 April 1978) is a British gamification designer and author, best know for creating the User Types Hexad[1].
Life and career
edit- Andrzej Marczewski is a Gamification Solution Designer and Consultant. He has been involved directly in gamification since 2011. Since then he has become recognised as a world expert in gamification, working as subject matter expert and consultant for several companies.
- Andrzej's love of games spans back to his earliest memories and has made sure that over course of his career he has made sure games have played a large part of his work. From developing game inspired learning materials as a VLE manager, to spending 10 years running a games review website.
- Andrzej has written hundreds of articles in his blog [2]. as well as two books on Gamification; Gamification: A Simple Introduction [3] and Even Ninja Monkeys Like to Play [4]as well as providing chapters for a few others. He has also co-authored several research papers on the topic of Player Types.
- He has spoken at many events, including four Gamification World Congress's , where he has also been awarded the 2016 “Greatest Contribution to the Industry”
