I am a naturopathic doctor specializing in classical homeopathy, a classical singer (no pun intended) specializing in Early and Baroque music, and a perennial student of philosophy (metaphysics, epistemology, science, biology, medicine). I recently returned to Israel where I was born and grew up until age 13, following 15 years in Toronto, where I studied science (mainly chemistry) and philosophy (focusing on philosophy of science and biology) at the University of Toronto, and naturopathic medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic medicine. I am currently pursuing an MA in philosophy at Tel-Aviv University, singing in choirs and as soloist, and beginning to practice classical homeopathy and, in the near future, work as Research Assistant in a study on clinical homeopathy at the Center for Integrated Complementary Medicine at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
My special interest and scholarly niche is the interface between philosophy and medicine in the normative sense: the subject of philosophy of medicine not as a branch or handmaiden of conventional medicine, but as an independent discipline drawing on all contenders for medical truth - whether conventional or alternative and controversial - in search for the truth.
You may find some past academic writing on my half-baked website www.metamedicine.com, especially a large essay on Evidence-Based Medicine.
Recently I also launched a blog on homeopathy.
