Michael Lion Leman (June 5, 1807 - March 7, 1889) was a pioneer businessman of New York City, responsible for introducing the metallic (steel) pen to America in 1832.
Biography He was born in Hague, Holland on June 5, 1807. When 7 years of age, he went to England, arriving in America in 1828.
