I'm David Evans, I live in Woodland Washington, I'm very interested in politics and believe that a new political party that a blend of both capitalism and socialist ideas that addresses the basic needs of every American citizen. Below is a description of the concepts of American Democratic Socialism is and how it is different from other forms of socialism and how it is defined. Defining "AMERICAN DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM". American Democratic Socialism is a new concept even though is contains some of the ideas and ideals in the other forms of Socialism it is different. American Democratic Socialism is a new idea based in socialism. Things that humans need like health care, safe food, clean air, clean water, child care and very basic barracks style housing would be socialized like the military. All the basic living needs provided by tax dollars paid by taxes. All working Americans, Corporations, the rich, the stock markets would all pay appropriate taxes to pay for it just as taxes pay for the military. It would just another part of the budget. Everything else would be just as it is the only change being everyone that works pays without exception. The only other change would be that if you are homeless you must go to government housing barracks. Federal employees will get paid to keep these barracks clean and maintained. People in tax paid housing will also be required to get medical help for drug, alcohol, mental and emotional problems. If you want out of the government run system you are offered education and or training to get a good paying job. These would be the tenants of Americans Democratic Socialism.
