School History:

• Chuan Yi Elementary School was founded in 1924, formerly known as the Children's School of the Bureau of Military and Industrial Affairs, the first demonstration school in Sichuan Province, and the former Sichuan Province Sports Traditional School. • In 1924, the school was founded and named Jue Min Primary School. The school site is located in Chongqing Nanan Tongyuan Bureau Laojunmiao Street No. 1, from the second grade enrollment. During the Revolutionary War era, the school trained a number of progressive young people for the revolution.

• In the 1950s and 1960s, the school excelled in moral education. After the liberation, the school cultivated a large number of talents for the factories, and in the 1960s it developed to one school and three districts with 61 classes and more than 100 teaching staff, becoming the largest elementary school in the Southwest military-industrial system at that time, a key elementary school in Chongqing, a school linked to the Ministry of Education of the Central Committee, and a working group of the Government Education Bureau was sent to the school to guide the school to carry out its work.

• In 1980, the school was listed as one of the first key elementary school in Sichuan Province.
