Demelza Goodwych Author of humorous fantasy Peaches McUmble-Pye and the Flying Scotsman. Demelza Goodwych is the nom-de-plume of Carol Weaver, born 1947 in New Ollerton, Nottinghamshire. Educated at The Queen Elizabeth Grammar School for Girls in Mansfield, later in life she went on to gain a BSc Honours degree after studying at the Open University.

Carol is currently completing the second story in the series, Peaches McUmble-Pye and the Hunt for Fred October.
