Biography
Farzad Yazdani was born on May 5, 1996, in Tehran, Iran. He began playing guitar at the age of 6 and started vocal training, solfège, and singing at the age of 12. In his first year of high school, he began playing electric guitar in the soft rock style and significantly improved his solo performance skills. After finishing high school, he started learning piano and experienced rapid progress due to his background in music theory.
Education
Farzad Yazdani pursued his education in Mathematics and Physics and obtained his diploma in this field. In 2024, he completed online courses in FL Studio Basics[1] and The Art of Music Production[2] at Berklee[3] College of Music and received certification for these courses.
Career and Artistic Activities
During high school, Farzad Yazdani developed an interest in composition, music production, and mixing and mastering, which led him to enter the studio environment. He worked in electronic, trap, hip-hop music, and instrumental music, gaining particular prominence in the trap genre. Initially, he released his music under the stage name Demonthetrack on social media and platforms such as SoundCloud, BeatStars, and Instagram.
Over time, he decided to officially release his music internationally under the stage name Dem. Due to issues with name similarity and internet search challenges, he later changed his stage name to Demonthetrack to make it more unique and identifiable. His music is accessible to listeners worldwide on major platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, and SoundCloud.
