Apology
editI apologize for stating that you oppose child-advocates. Perhaps, like Doctor Benjamin Spock did, before he learned the truth, you believe that circumcision is good.
I am sorry.

Hi Denni. Thanks for your suggestion on Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates for Image:Onsen in Nachikatsuura, Japan.jpg. I cropped the image using my high resolution source file, and removed the car and power pylons. Could you have a look and see if it is better now? (Press CTRL and click reload if you still see the old image) I think your suggestions helped. Thanks -- Chris 73 Talk 09:04, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Wildflowers
editIf you can identify some of the species and give an approximate location, your image "DwSixspecies.jpg" would be good at Wildflower (not a very inspiring entry). Wetman 21:52, 30 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Changing username
editHi Denni. A while ago you requested a username change to Denni on Wikipedia:Changing username, but the new user account was already created. If you wish, the edit history from Dwindrim can be reattributed to the account Denni, effectively "changing" the username, as you can simply use the new account instead. If you want to do this, can you please make an edit saying so on that page from this account (Dwindrim), and also log in as Denni and make another edit there to confirm it? Regards — Kate Turner | Talk 09:17, 2004 Sep 5 (UTC)
- Hi Kate - thanks for your help with this so far. I have moved my userpage over, and anm just preparing to move my talk page - as soon as this note to you is done. I'd also appreciate apointer to the page which describes how this is done - as a baby admin, I think it's something I ought to know.
- Looks like both were successful - can you reattribute my edits to this new location? Thanks yo so much!

- Hi again. I've now reattributed all the edits from User:Dwindrim to User:Denni. Angela has also added sysop rights for Denni (and removed them from the old account). Please let me know if there are any problems. You'll probably want to redirect your old user page to the new one, so that old signatures and so on still work.
- Regarding doing changes of username - unfortunately, only m:developers can do this at the moment. It's one of the great many "non-development tasks for developers" that often get several months of backlog for lack of time. Hopefully in the future it'll be possible for sysops or bureaucrats to do this :-) Regards — Kate Turner | Talk 01:33, 2004 Sep 6 (UTC)
- You have my true gratitude for all you have done here. Both userpage and talk page have been brought over, and the old pages will be left to languish. I'll place them on VfD if, after a few months, no peculiarities show up under the username. Please pass my thanks to dear Angela for her help. Denni☯ 01:46, 2004 Sep 6 (UTC)
Hi, the topic itself for exploding whale (as pointed out by Meelar) should not be taken into consideration when voting on the Feature Article Candidacy page. The tone is a different matter. What in particular do you not like about it? I'll attempt to take this into consideration and modify the page accordingly. - Ta bu shi da yu 11:31, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)
