Stanza Living , commonly known as Stanza, is an Indian company founded in 2017 that designs, operates and manages a network of student accommodations in all major educational hubs of India. The company currently has X beds under management in Y residences across Z educational hubs of the country. The company is a technology-enabled operator with an asset-light business model. Stanza works closely with a range of landlords, developers and investor partners on multi-year property-specific agreements and transforms these properties to student-friendly spaces which are then managed and operated by Stanza. The company is headquartered in New Delhi, India.

Stanza Living was founded by Anindya Dutta & Sandeep Dalmia, both alumni of IIM Ahmedabad, in 2017 with an aim of introducing international housing concepts for college going students in an otherwise unorganised and fragmented industry run by mom-and-pop operators.

Seed funded by the co-founders initially, the company raised $2 million as part of a Series A round from Accel Partners and Matrix Partners in November 2017.

Stanza Living aims to provide an experiential product to students - an experience founded on the principles of comfort, care and community. In addition to high-quality living infrastructures like fully furnished rooms, uniquely-designed common areas, hourly, nutritious meals, state-of-the-art security systems and professionally trained staff, the company also specializes in catering to student's recreational and aspirational needs through its 'Stanza Social' and 'Stanza Springboard' programs.

The company integrates its vision - Technology For People - into everyday operations to simplify processes and minimise human interventions. The Stanza technology platform deploys machine learning algorithms to understand student preferences and proactively maintain and customise its services. The Stanza student companion app allows for collection of real-time feedback, seamless automated payments and real-time tracking of complaints. Students can connect with other residents using the app and also apply for late nights or night-outs, eliminating age-old wardens.

Stanza Social is a unique program which specializes in student personal and social well-being by organising fortnightly events to encourage healthy community interaction, as well as by tying up with other allied services around the residences for exclusive discounts and offers on food delivery, stationery shops, fitness centres, salons, etc. to make the overall living ecosystem an easily navigable and affordable venture for students.

Stanza Springboard is a program to connect Stanza residents with corporate networks, skilling initiatives and industry experts for internships, interactions and opportunities that will make them corporate ready and aware of different fields.
