About Me

I have a BA in linguistics from the University of Texas and an MA in linguistics from the University of Washington. Going into the PhD, my major concentration is in sociolinguistics and my minor concentration is in phonetics. Most of my research is on the Southern United States dialect.

I chose my user name after reading about cognitive dissonance.
