Give me some feedback if you like/dislike any editing I've done or the like. Thanks.

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article List of seinen manga, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at Talk:List of seinen manga. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. • I removed the tag, and I also commented on the Talk-page. Thanks for letting me know. DJLarZ 01:23, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
  • I don't really understand why the article was removed, (it was a fully legitimate article), but hey, I'm just a simple editor. DJLarZ 20:04, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Moving Getsumen To Heiki Mina

edit

Did you look at the talk page before deciding to move the page? The correct title is Getsumen To Heiki Mina, but I need to request that move because it involves a redirect. I wanted to discuss this with everyone, not just move it to more and more different places. Also, do you have a source for Getsumento Heiki Mina being correct? I haven't seen that anywhere. Leebo86 18:10, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

  • There is no visible hiragana for 'to' in the title. If Getsumen and To were separate words ('to' means 'and'), a hiragana to (と) would be present, which it is not. That's the reason I moved the page.DJLarZ 20:01, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Well, I admittedly have no experience reading Japanese first hand (I can recognize some katakana), but it just seemed odd to me that a source like Anime News Network would use the incorrect romanization in their title page for the series and in a news blurb about the supposedly correct wording of the title. Leebo86 14:18, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Yes, it's true that it is weird, but it's a fact that japanese 'To' with the meaning 'and' is _always_ written in Hiragana, and there's no Hiragana at all in the title. Furthermore, the Japanese Wikipedia "hiraganizes" the kanjis as "げつめんとへいき ミーナ", with only one space (before 'Miina'). Also, in all the episodes (3 have been aired so far) and the trailers for the series, it is pronounced with no pause inbetween 'getsumen' and 'to.' DJLarZ 14:24, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Agreed, it makes sense. Sorry if I came off as combative. Leebo86 14:29, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
  • No hard feelings. Keep up the good work, fellow Wikipedian :) DJLarZ 14:32, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

Just a note about the message you put on the talk page. First of all, Wikipedia is not a democracy, and so making decisions through a process of voting is a bad idea. Also, articles are not deleted through their talk pages, please see this page for an explanation of the deletion policy. I have nominated the page for speedy deletion, and should it not be deleted, I will send it to articles for deletion, unless someone provides some proof that it is notable. • Ok, thanks. I'll remember that. =) DJLarZ 06:56, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
