I am a writer, editor and sometime actor (AEA/SAG/AFTRA, for what it's worth) living just north of the Golden Gate Bridge with my wife and daughters. And cat. And a rat. And many guppies.

Since 1999, I have overseen the publications program for the Joseph Campbell Foundation. I have edited three posthumous volumes of Campbell's unpublished writing and lectures and overseen editions of a dozen additional titles, including the third edition of the seminal Hero with a Thousand Faces. As managing editor of the Collected Works of Joseph Campbell, I've overseen the creation of over seventy-five print, video, audio and ebook editions.

In 2012, I began putting the knowledge I've gained at JCF by starting my own small publishing firm, Stillpoint Digital Press. If it's got words in it, I play with it. :-)

My young-adult historical adventure novel Risuko (ISBN 9781938808340) comes out in June 2016. Set in sixteenth-century Sengoku Jidai Japan, it follows the title character along the dangerous path to discovering who she is, and what she is capable of. Check it out! :-)
