Nicole Denise Cucco (born on August 25, 2000), known professionally as Nicki Nicole, is an Argentinian singer and composer. She is most well-known for her single "Wapo Traketero," which has received millions of views on YouTube in only a short time after release. The song went viral and was listed on Billboard's Argentina Hot 100.[1][2][3]
Biography
editNicole was born in Rosario, Argentina, to a middle-class family. She has been interested in music from a young age. She studied at the Colegio Comunidad Educativa La Paz.[4][5]
Musical career
editIn April 2019, Nicki Nicole released her song "Wapo Traketero", with musical production by Gonzalo Ferreyra[6] y audiovisual production by Cocodrilo P&B. The song received millions of plays in two months, and made it to the top 3 of Billboard's Argentina Hot 100.[7][8][9][10]The video was filmed in the outskirts of Rosario. On August 14, 2019, Nicole joined Argentine producer Bizarrap in his Music Session. On August 23, Nicole released a new song titled "Años luz", again produced by Ferreyra, and a minimalistic music video produced by Cocodrilo P&B. On November 8, 2019, Nicole released her first album Recuerdos, which achieved number 89 on the iTunes chart of top songs in Argentina.[12]
On May 13, 2020, Nicole released her song "Colocao", which reveived more than a million views on YouTube within 24 hours. It was one of the songs most listened to in Argentina that week.[13]
