Born on January 6, 1970, in Caracas, Venezuela, Dosgface first got into music at a very young age. "As a kid, he used to listen to the radio and just play records, all he wanted, was to understand how radios played sound and music, so he crack-open a few radios to check the circuits and all that. Then around age 7, he started to study guitar and cuatro (a native Venezuelan instrument). When he was 9, he produced/recorded his first radio show with his younger brother, it was an imaginary basketball tournament “live” show recorded in a stereo cassette recorder his father had. At 12, he won an acoustic guitar in a raffle at a school party, from there he started to pick up into music, learning every song he could, studying classical guitar and music theory for several years. When he graduated from high school, all he wanted to do was play guitar, that’s when he moved to Boston and got enrolled in Berklee College of Music where he graduated as a Music Producer and Recording engineer. For the last 30 years, he’s been writing and recording songs and now he’s sharing it with the world.
