Lamberto Collari (26 October 1972)[1] is an Italian radio-controlled car racer, notable for his successes in 1:8 scale on-road racing. In world championship racing he holds distinction with not just the highest for the class with nine wins but hold the record for the highest single class wins of all time, most consecutive wins (5) and the most for a nitro powered car.

he had his EFRA licence initially suspended upto 2005[4] [5]

The inaugural 1:5 Worlds in 2001 was marred by a cheating scandal when he was disqualified in the over the use of banned fuel substances found in his car.[6] He was initially suspended of his EFRA license up until 2005 but following appeal, was instead given a probation of five years.[7] Aside a podium finish in 2003; in the same year, he continued his second wave of winning streak upto 2009 with a single class record of nine victories.[citation needed]

He led a boycott of a group of Italian drivers to the 2013 on-road Worlds that took place in Chiba, claiming concerns over the radiation level of the Fukushima Plant.[8]
