In.the Abrahamic religions, the Holy Spirit, also known as the Holy Ghost (Hebrew: רוח הקודש, romanizedruach ha-kodesh; Arabic: الروح القدس, romanizedal-Ruwh al-Quds), refers to the aspect of God whose influence is present in the material universe.
