Dr. Khalid Jaman Al Zahrani (Arabic: - خالد بن جمعان الزهراني Born on 30 November 1976 in Al Taef, Saudi Arabia) is a Saudi plastic surgeon specialist in body coordination and reconstructive surgery for patients who have lost lots of weight. He is the Vice President of the Saudi Society of Plastic Surgery, also a member of the American Society for plastic and reconstructive surgeries. He also contributes to the training of newly Saudi graduated doctors, and this training takes place under the auspices of the Saudi commission for medical specialties. In addition to being a former faculty member in the College of Medicine at King Saud University, beside all of that, he did many researches and studies to concentrate on the different cases of plastic and reconstructive surgeries, furthermore represent a clinical solutions. Moreover he is the writer of “Al Bndana” book which represents his perspective as a doctor says:” It is a funny thing to say – I think- to start this journey with a story that always happens to me. In lots of occasions when one of the audiences asks a medical question in my specialist, the rest of them answer him/her without me saying a word! So I think to myself ‘Whoever speaks other than his art brings wonders’ “.

Biography:

Al Zahrani was born in the city of Al Taef, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. After graduating from Al Baha High School in Al Taef, he moved to Al Riyadh where he received his M.B.B.S. at King Saud University and the Saudi Board in plastic surgery with honor at King Saud University. In 2009, he received a fellowship in Body Contouring after losing weight from Iowa, USA. Career:

Starting his medical career in 2000, in King Saud University as a Teaching Assistant, after that he worked in four different medical edifices:


  • Staff Plastic Surgeon, Al-Habib Medical Center, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (July 2008-2009).
  • Head of plastic surgery unite, Medica Center, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ( 2009- 2013)
  • Head of plastic surgery unite at Al-Safwa hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (2013- present). He is also a trainer for new plastic surgeons and a former faculty member at King Saud University.

In addition to his medical qualifications, he did a lot of researches and studies to concentrate on different cases in plastic and reconstructive surgeries.
