Dr. Aaron Stein

edit

Doctor Aaron Stein of the Fictional German Research Control (FGRC). He is basically just a screen name used by some guy who wants to be a member of Wikipedia. He is kind of like a fictional character. The person who uses Dr. Stein as a screen name is from Eastern Canada and thus will often use the metric system for measurements of distance, distance over time (speed), and will use typically metric formats for displaying dates.

History

edit

Dr. Stein joined Wikipedia on 28/12/2012 and first edited an article moments after joining.[1] His first article was suggested to him by the Wikipedia software after sign-up, this article was Conan Unchained! a Dungeons & Dragons module from the 1980's. Having neither played the game nor seen the movie Dr. Stein promptly began to change certain aspects of grammar, before beginning to research the game. He added a few extra details and continuity before publishing his edits.[1]

After editing his first article Dr. Stein began to explore his User_Talk: page as well as this page.[2] Being the narcissistic person he is he just had to create a sort of third person auto-biography, which is what is displayed here. After writing this autobiography he continued on to research more into the how-to's and why-not's of the Wikipedia rules and community. He also afterwards began to edit grammatical errors, as this was what he knew best.[3]

On 01/01/2013 he discovered that Steve Burns (best known for Blues Clues) Wikipedia page was under constant attack from vandalism.[4] After discovering this he became slightly angry and decided to write about it on his user page. This was in order to let anyone passing through know and maybe subliminally suggest that they go and check up on the Wikipedia page.

On 30/02/2013 the Doctor added references for a list of Canadian actors, and it took a long time.[5]

Created first new article Nova Scotia U18 Major Hockey League
