Dr. Arpan Dutta Roy is an experienced Clinical Pharmacologist working as the Chief of Clinical Pharmacology (COCP) in Ruby General Hospital, Kolkata, heading a team of Clinical Pharmacists including critical care and Oncotherapeutic Pharmacists and is the first to establish the first private In house Drug Information Center in West Bengal for promoting and uplifting the clinical pharmacy services to the patients in the healthcare system.Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page).</ref> Currently, he is an NABH Assessor (HOPE) and has 46 International Research Publications on drug safety and clinical pharmacy practice in various International Journals and has received many certificates and awards for his contribution towards clinical pharmacy practices in Eastern India.[1]

He is providing clinical support to COVID 19 patients along with other healthcare professionals as well as in the community during this pandemic situation. In his 5 years of career span he has been associated as a Clinical Pharmacologist in various hospitals like AMRI, Kothari, Medica Group. Dr Arpan has established the first private DIC in West Bengal at RGH. He is also proving patient care to critically ill Covid 19 patients in this pandemic situation.[2]


Dr Arpan has received various awards for his excellence in his field. He received award from Ruby General Hospital for Quality and innovations and also received ISCN Award for Young Researcher Award.[3]
