South Shore Waldorf School

Located in Blockhouse, Nova Scotia, this is a Waldorf inspired school and kindergarden. Currently with enrollment standing at 57 children and waiting lists for kindergarden and most grades, this K-6 independent school is one of the very few schools in the province that is bursting at the seams.

Following the words of ideals of Rudolf Steiner, this school aspires to educate in the tradition of head, heart and hands.

Newly transitioned to a three-fold governing structure, the school has no head teacher or principal; being governed by a school board, faculty and administrative manager.
