This page lists my RfA Standards. Feel free to comment on these at User talk:Draicone.
General requirements:
- Experience: 3 months absolute minimum. Generally 4 - 6, but I will accept 3 if the candidate makes up in edit count and general spread of edits.
- Edits: 1000+ is best. If under 3-4 months, much more is expected, but this isn't an indication of experience.
- Edit summary usage: 75% for major, 80% for minor - I'm very lenient here, as you can see. Again, if the candidate makes up for less edit summary usage in other areas, I'm happy.
- Namespace edits: 50 User, 100 Wikipedia, 50 Wikipedia talk, 50 Talk, 100 User talk
- Warnings: No recent vandalism warnings whatsoever
Bonuses to make up for shortfalls above (but not needed):
- Vandal fighting
- History of voting against consensus where appropriate
- Clear knowledge of policy (demonstrated in participation in Wikipedia space pages, like citing policy in an AfD or at RfC)
- Prior voting at WP:RFA. This isn't a requirement, but it shows that the candidate knows what they're doing by being at RfA in the first place. Generally a user shouldn't accept a nomination if they know a significant reason why their RfA will fail.
I do not observe 1FA or 200MWTE, as I personally feel it is unfair to expect admins to conform to these, and it restricts the number of admins on WP. In my opinion, the more admins we have the better, so as long as someone passes their straw poll, I see no reason to subject them to 1FA or 200MWTE.
