I've been researching the testing and techno-economics of ocean energy development and commercialisation over the past 10+ years, so am trying to share some of the knowledge I have gained here on Wikipedia, although making to sure only to only reference material in the public domain.
I'm slowly trying to update the pages on wave and tidal energy projects since the winter 23/24, as many of these were quite out-of-date, and the industry has moved on somewhat, with plans and contracts being developed for the first commercial-sale projects. I started with tidal energy (primarily in the UK), as this is probably most advanced, and worked my way through the List of wave power projects, updating and adding more detail. I've also created pages for the more notable companies.
Pages I've started/worked on significantly
