Randall George Nozawa was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and participated in football, soccer, and track in high school. He then attended the University of Oregon and played a year of football for the 1977 Ducks. While in Oregon, he took up competitive bodybuilding and exercises daily to this day while incorporating Yoga, Pilates, and Meditation to his regimen. Moving to Seattle and working in the health club industry, he eventually owned 2 clubs of his own. He finished his baccalaureate in Psychology and also graduated from the University Of Washington School Of Dentistry. The succeeding 13 years brought multitudes of patient care to those who could not afford it, a Seattle P.I. nominee selection for the, Humanitarian of the Year award, and a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. A near fatal car wreck in 2003 and getting shot in the face in 2007 has left him totally blind, and at the time, broke, and almost homeless. After learning blind skills from the DSB and taking graduate courses in Counseling Psychology and Addictions Counseling, he decided to live his life purpose and to pick himself up from rock bottom, out of poverty, and out of hopelessness. In 2013, he created a program, Transforming Adversity Into Opportunity, where he helps individuals optimize and awaken their biggest dreams and deepest passions so that they can have higher incomes, more rewarding relationships, higher levels of health, higher levels of self love or feeling of self worth, all cloistered in the mindset of Kaizen, constant improvement in all aspects of life that is never ending. To serve a larger population, Dr. Randall, has taken his program to a bigger stage, nationally and internationally, by focusing on educating coaches, counselors, consultants, healthcare providers, and business owners.
