Well, after years of referring to Wikipedia as a first stop in my research and for generally trying to understand what's happening in the world, I figure it's my turn now to use some of the knowledge I've come across to make this an even more helpful resource for even more people.
So, here I am.
As you can tell from my name - Spaceballs is one of my all time favorite movies - and well, though not a Druish Princess, per se, I am a bit of a Jewish Princess… Born in the Upper West Side of Manhattan, grew up in Israel, and went to an expensive liberal arts college…
I've lived and worked in the Middle East, Europe, and East Asia, studied international law, politics, and human rights. My regional focus for the last several years has been on East and Southeast Asia, as well as the Middle East. Being a bit of a tech junkie myself, I'm interested in media and internet-related issues, and having studied international and comparative law, I'll do my best to contribute to this dimension of Wikipedia's knowledge.
I'm new to this so any pointers would be great. In the meantime…
